I am extremely pleased to recommend Kelly Windows for the installation of replacement windows for your company. Dealing with Bill & Karl Giugliano as well as Bob Buckley has been a pleasure as they truly care about their customers and deliver what they promised. Too often, you get a sales pitch that sounds good but comes up empty. In our case, the opposite was found to be true with Kelly Windows.
Kelly Windows has recently completed the installation of over 2500 Windows for Birchwood Court Owners Corp., located in Mineola, New York. Birchwood Court is a 444 Unit Cooperative complex comprised of six, five-story buildings.
Needless to say, a job of this size was an extremely high profile; one involving what was to be a major improvement to each resident’s home. A lengthy selection process involving bidding and interviewing of many qualified contractors was held by the Board of Directors as well as our management company.
Kelly was selected due to many factors all of which they delivered on such as:
– They manufacture as well as install their own windows and literally the buck stops with them.
– Their prices were very competitive for the various specified and desired options of the product. They were able to make recommendations for options that were site-specific to address concerns going into the project.
– Their windows are of such quality that they are willing to stand behind it with a great warranty.
– Their crews were highly qualified and understood the importance of working courteously and very neatly in each resident’s apartment.
– They coordinated the scheduling of the installations for each apartment and kept to the schedule.
The residents of the Birchwood Court community were extremely pleased with the way the work was performed and continue to be even more pleased with their new windows.
The new windows have all but eliminated the sounds from the adjacent Long Island Railroad trains going by at all hours, They are easy to open (the other windows were difficult to open) and they helped maintain the heat in the apartments this past winter, better than ever before.
